Manual
handling is a typical example. Whilst "general" manual
handling training may be a sensible option, many businesses actually
find
that their requirements are often very specific. A particular
work
section will have a limited number of identifiable handling risks and
it
is important for all workers in that section to be aware of the hazards
and how to safely control them. (For example, which products
require
a two-person lift or where are the safe lifting points on certain
products).
When new employees arrive or job allocations are rotated, there is an
immediate
necessity to provide training. This can be provided by a Janco
bespoke training presentation without the repeat costs of
bringing
in special trainers. This is particularly beneficial where
foreign workers with difficulties in the use of the english language
are employed. The same presentation can be produced with use
of
an appropriate language (or languages).
This can provide significant budget savings.
